How To Pick Between Two Guys?

Hi Melodie,

I've been seeing two different guys and have started to really care about both of them. I know I'll have to decide between them at some point. What can you tell me to help me make my choice? My name is Sandra and theirs are Mike and Alex.*

Hi Sandra, for this question I pulled three cards, from the Chrysalis Tarot. As you listed Mike first I put him in the first position, you in the middle position and Alex in the final position. Here are your cards:



Just looking at this spread as a whole, it feels to me very much like this could be a rash decision. I know you feel you need to make a choice, but the theme here is one of diving in without having all the information you need to make a solid decision.

Mike shows up as the Hero card (this deck's version of the Fool); to me this implies that you think he is the better choice (your "hero") and that you might be foolish to let him go. Alex shows up as the Ace of Mirrors, which is Cups in traditional decks, the suit associated with an outpouring of love and affection.

You're showing up as the Eight of Spirals (Wands in traditional tarot). This card is called "Swiftness" in some decks and means essentially acting quickly and striking while the iron is hot. I get the sense here that you're leaning toward Alex (racing toward him is more like it based on the motion in that card).

Who do I think you should choose? I honestly think either choice is premature. This spread says you need to let things develop before you make a decision either way.
