Sometimes you have to throw out the rule book and forget about all the things dragging you down and take it one day at a time. After all the frustration you‘ve had throughout the past couple of weeks you need to slow things down and start seeing that Rome wasn‘t built in a day, and your career isn‘t going to revitalize and save itself in a week. Even though Mars living in Scorpio is making you touchy and sensitive, you have to work through that in order to keep yourself on a level playing field with everyone else. The last thing you want is to have one of your infamous Aries temper tantrums and watch other people get the opportunities you were gunning for. I can‘t begin to describe how much that would suck for you. It means that for the time being you have to blend in a little, do the tough work without complaining, and celebrate the small successes you make along the way. The truth is, you feel threatened when someone else can duplicate your personality. You‘re used to being the jack of all trades, master of none, the chameleon, and when someone encroaches on your personal space you mostly want to take them outside and plant their face in the snow. Call it a little territorial but some people irk you because you refuse to become redundant and useless. The entire point of being who you are is that you can adapt and tenaciously get through any situation no matter how difficult. Can‘t he just be some great eye candy for you and someone who can listen to you bitch and whine about your crappy life without judging you? I mean come on, if they do judge they are clearly not the hottest bartender in the land and your quest can continue. Either way, you have to get all that pressure off your chest without it coming back to haunt you, so do something to alleviate that stress. Sometimes you feel like the only person on the team that actually gives a damn. That and there are times when you take on all the work, refusing to delegate to anyone else because you don‘t want to have to hover over them and backseat drive. It‘s never a situation that goes over well for anyone involved, so you will avoid by getting the work done and not really telling the other people what‘s going on until they need to know, and by the time they need to know it‘s so far in the works it‘s already done, contracts signed, wheels set in motion kind of thing, so nobody can undermine you and take it back and try to change the plan. Of course, your bosses might not like this approach, and if things fail you‘ll take the full weight of the failure onto yourself, but that‘s the risk you take when you do things like this. The mature Leos will be able to hack it when the blowback occurs and calmly iron out any glitches, whereas the less grown up will either avoid the potential explosions and will react with anger and defensiveness instead of calmly fixing the problems you didn‘t anticipate when you took over this entire project. If you could get through a week without having an insecure moment you‘d be perfectly awesome. The issues begin on Monday though with the whole what to wear and whether or not you‘ll have those awful sweat stains on your clothes. People don‘t always care what you look like, and honestly, if you look better than other people that makes them feel more insecure. You need to be the sneak attack shark that looks all unassuming, sweet and innocent but has sharp intelligence and can negotiate like a pro. It‘s always the people you least expect to do the impossible that end up doing the impossible, so why not you? Why do you have to hold yourself back so much? Come the end of the week you‘re feeling like you could use a ten-year vacation, or some kind of sojourn to a foreign land where you can explore the world while exploring the deeper recesses of your soul. So then there‘s a Full Moon in Capricorn on the weekend and you feel very ambitious, not about working more but about traveling and gaining confidence. Ascendant: Taking a journey to a foreign land? Have you ever thought that you can only improve something so much before you have to decide that‘s as good as it‘s ever going to get and simply call it the best version of itself? It‘s the here and now, you‘ll need to live with the constant disappointments that crop up without warning, the bills you‘re not expecting to pay, and the people who don‘t even come close to living up to expectations. By the weekend you‘re calmer, ready to give people another chance if they ask for it and if they deserve it. You know, being a people watcher requires you to be in places where you can watch people. One thing I do not suggest is being like Huck (Scandal reference) don‘t go find houses with big windows and watch families from your car. Either way, you really aren‘t in the mood to talk to people this week, but watching them, overhearing their conversations, studying their overall mannerisms, moods and tone of voice is well worth it. You can make up stories about people, pass the time at work, and completely avoid everyone you know over the weekend. That might be for the best, new people give you a chance to redefine yourself. You know all good things come to an end, like teenage house parties that get busted by the cops. You know that if you were planning on running your brain 24/7 the way you were that eventually you‘d blow the speakers and all sound would snap out, making everyone give you some awkward glances. Okay so the decrease in ideas won‘t be as bad as a straight up writer‘s block, but you are going to feel the inevitable slowing of energy like a balloon that has a leak but hasn‘t quite popped. That being said, you have come up with plenty of great ideas over the past two weeks, and it might be time to retrace your steps going over the good ones, and developing them further. That might also be something people you work with want to do, but you still need to give yourself a chance to take all the fantastic ideas and turn them into something.
