In the “My Earnings” page your earnings are listed as line items by date. Each line has the following:

Date: This is the date on which the earning adjustment was made in the account

Type: This is a description of the adjustment. Below you will see a detailed explanation of each description.

Amount: The amount of USD associated with each line item.

Description of the Line Item Types

Every line item in your “My Earnings” page will have a description under the heading “Type”.
This description is to clarify what adjustment was made to your earnings.

Client Payment Cancellation

This term will appear as a line item in your “My Earnings” page when a session is cancelled. When you click on the description you will be provided with more information including the reason for the cancellation.

Cancellation Reasons:

1. Cancel session

Cancel session is aligned with our focus to create the best client experience. It covers four main cancellation reasons.

Technical Issues - If hardware, software or other issues prevent a meaningful session from taking place the session will be cancelled. This is generally limited to the beginning of a session, but may also include longer sessions.

No Service Provided - If no service was provided to the client (e.g. the advisor didn’t respond, was unable to connect, or ignored the client’s question)

Advisor Request - Advisors have the option to cancel a session if s/he feels the service was unsatisfactory for you or the client. Note: No advisor payment will be received for choosing to cancel a session.

1st Session Unsatisfied - Kasamba will refund up to $50 on a unsatisfied claim for a client’s first ever session with the advisor in accordance with our satisfaction guarantee policy.

2. Refund by the Kasamba billing team

This will appear when a Kasamba representative is forced to cancel a session due to fraudulent activity.

3. Payment Re-post

This appears in rare circumstances when a client wants his account balance refunded. We will cancel a session to perform the refund.

Line Item Types for Charge Backs

Chargebacks occur when a credit card holder denies receiving service to their Credit Card Company or bank. Chargebacks are covered by Kasamba. In the event of a chargeback, you will see two separate line items for each step in the process. 1) Client Payment Cancellation 2) Chargeback covering by site.

Client Payment Cancellation
This term will appear as a line item in your “My Earnings” page when a session is cancelled. When you click on the description you will be provided with the following cancellation reason: Chargeback

Chargeback covering by site
Following a chargeback, the line item “Chargeback covering by site” will appear for the same amount of the chargeback. This is the action of Kasamba covering the fee for the charged back session. By clicking on the line item, you will be able to see more information.

Line Item Types for Promotions (Coupons, Discounts, Sales etc.)

Promotion Payment
This term will appear as a line item in your “My Earnings” page in the event a client used a coupon to pay for a portion of their session on Kasamba.

In the below example, both line items represent payment for the same session. Part of the session payment is from a Kasamba promotion and part is from the client.

Session Earnings Breakdown:
The expert earnings are: $3.63
Earnings Paid for by Kasamba: $1.82
Earnings Paid for by Client: $1.81

Promotion Payment Cancellation

This term will appear as a line item in your “My Earnings” page when a session paid for with a promotion is cancelled. When you click on the description you will be provided with more information including the reason for the cancellation. See above reasons for session cancellations.

In the above example, both cancellations are for the same session. It is the same as the previous example.

This term will appear as a line item in your “My Earnings” page in the event of a manual adjustment by the billing department.
