A good profile picture attracts more clients by conveying warmth, openness, and expertise. We want your profile picture to reflect these qualities and more!

Below are the photo guidelines you should follow to send the right message to prospective clients.

Photo Guidelines
1. Professional Photo
Using a professional photo will raise the quality of your profile picture. Avoid taking a selfie and ask a photographer to take the photo for you.
2. Layout & Framing

Photo needs to be horizontal (not vertical) and you should appear from the waist or shoulders up (tip: the position for best results is head-to-waist).

3. Composition & Angle
You should be the focus of the picture and looking directly at the camera. You should be photographed at the same height of the camera, not from above or underneath.
4. Accessories

Face should be clear of distractions (e.g. no head coverings - unless religiously mandated -, hands, sunglasses, hair, glare, shadows over the eyes, dogs, family, friends etc. )

5. Smile :-)
Photo must be welcoming (e.g smile with teeth, well lit, positive). Avoid laughing smiles.
6. Location

Find a good location that you feel comfortable in. It is best to have the photo taken outside in daylight. A natural background works better than other locations.

7. File Size
Don’t decrease the image file size or dimensions - send us the original files. At least 1024 pixels wide.
